Yasawa Islands

The Yasawas are a group of northern islands with remote villages, most a day sail’s away. The first few are accessible by ferries and feature resorts like Octopus on Waya Island, a funky backpackers with bean bags and a projector for outdoor movie nights, crab racing, a big pool with day beds and a friendly village on the other side of the island. Say hi to Tom the chief and if he likes you, he may even show you his pigs that play on a nearby beach. Manta ray Island Resort is the next one up and is the only place that offers swimming with wild manta rays from May to October every year.
