Toronto (pronounced without the “T” if you’re a true local) is the largest city in Canada and also one of the world’s most diverse, with nearly half of its population born outside the country. As a result, the people are friendly and very receptive to tourists. Whether you’re planning on moving there to live or just passing by, it’s one cool (quite literally if you’re travelling in winter) place to be! There’s no shortage of things to do, places to visit or bars/clubs to drink at. If you’re going to add it as one of your travelling destinations, be sure to give yourself a couple of days at the very least. And if the Mayor Rob Ford declines your invitation to smoke crack together (unlikely) here’s a few other activities to help fill in your days.
