Melbourne: Dumpster Dive at Salvos
Get There: 740 Sydney Road, Brunswick – Sundays from sundown
On Sunday nights, The Salvation Army Op Shop in Brunswick becomes a battleground for hobos with headtorches as they sift through the week’s donations that have been left outside on the street. Bags of clothes, crockery, books and even stylish nude paintings are abandoned by philanthropists richer than you are, and if you are looking to kit your home out with more than just milk crates, this place is a goldmine. Bring your fixie, as you won’t leave empty handed, but just remember that in terms of pecking order, it’s first in best dressed. To compensate for this horrific deed (technically stealing from Jesus), you must promise to donate it all back when you move away from Melbourne.
Stealing from Jesus! You can’t be sirius
Stealing from a charity is pretty low.
Hi, I do believe this is an excellent web site. I stumbledupon it 😉 I
am going to return yet again since I saved as a favorite it.
Money and freedom is the best way to change, may you
be rich and continue to help others.
Do not try this at the Salvos at St Kilda; they do not have a sense of humour.
You don’t get it do you?
Fuck you man that is charity. You’re very low price stupid for doing this.
