The traditional Poutine consists of French fries, gravy and cheese curd. However, as strange as it sounds, most menus boasting this dish are extensive and offer all sorts of variations, from Nachos to Steak Fajita. It looks as good as the name sounds and could induce a heart attack within a couple of mouthfuls. But if you’re not too busy being a skinny bitch and/or need a hangover feed, there’s no better place to try it given it originated in the province of Quebec. My friends could not stop talking about how they ate “the best Poutine ever” at Frite Alors (680 Sainte-Catherine St W).
