Sydney: Camperdown Park
Get There: Mallett St, Camperdown
If you enjoy drinking long necks of cheap, generically named, mass-produced beer out of paper bags, Camperdown Park is a really good place to do so. Whether you’re fuelling up for a night of coward-punching in Newtown or enjoying a casual drink on a sunny afternoon, Camperdown Park is now well-known as Sydney’s best pub. No poker machines, no bouncers with throbbing biceps and less sniffer dogs than actual dogs make CP an ideal location for a whole range of activities. It’s a great venue for picnics, buck’s nights, interventions or even a funeral. It’s an all-ages venue, unless you want to use the toilets, which are located next door at the Courthouse Hotel.
